JOB SUMMARY:

Here at PSG, we are a community-based social services organization seeking passionate individuals to join us as the Youth Support Specialist / Truancy Liaison. As the Youth Support Specialist / Truancy Liaison, you will mentor youth and families through individualized treatment plans based on their goals, and organize and facilitate structured support groups.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE YOUTH SUPPORT SPECIALIST / TRUANCY LIAISON:

• Create, implement, and review family treatment plans, safety plans, and crisis plans.
• Mentor youth and families in accordance with their treatment/safety/crisis plans.
• Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.
• Provide parenting education, support, and advocacy to program clientele through individual, family, and group work.
• Organize and facilitate structured groups as needed.
• Serve as a community resource for families.
• Provide case management services.
• Interviewing and evaluating families to complete the intake process.
• Safely transport clients as needed.

LOCATION: Oshkosh, WI. Local travel is required to meet with clients within the home or other community spaces throughout Winnebago County and surrounding areas, with mileage reimbursement provided.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday. Both full-time and part-time positions are currently available.

SALARY: $20.00 per hour

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related.
• Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
