Position SummaryThis role supports the Florida Vegetation Management team with a primary focus on financial operations, work plan organization, regulatory reporting and cost/work projections. Individuals serve as experts for business specific systems, processes and data, to plan and manage improvement initiatives. This could include statistical analysis, business case preparation, time study analysis, cost benefit analysis and return on investment analysis. high Individuals have a level of business expertise and provide subject matter expertise for customer operations as well as other functional areas. They work on business-critical systems and/or processes. They design, revise and implement solutions to meet customer & business needs. They exhibit autonomy in applying tools, methodologies and governance structures that align with business objectives for multiple departmental groups. Responsibilities * Provide weekly and monthly financial updates/reporting for PGO Florida Vegetation Management. * Coordinate the development of the long-range and 5-year business plans, and budget for the department and assigned locations to ensure compliance with Company strategic plans. * Provide support for data requests around rate case/regulatory filings. * Prepare thorough and accurate technical and business management reports, effective correspondence, accurate documentation and well-maintained records. * Coordinate vendor scorecard updates quarterly. * Define and develop key metrics to measure system/business performance. Lead data analysis across multiple work groups or multiple systems. * Designs, revises and implements solutions to meet customer and business needs. Works to integrate solutions into existing business processes. Helps to manage change and communications across multiple departments. * Coordinates and manages subject matter experts from a variety of disciplines and support organizations to provide business and system requirements and validation for business. * Develops and maintains standards and best practices across multiple business units. * Implements and integrates complex business changes across multiple, cross-functional depts. * Resolves complex system & business process problems. Analyzes and develops plans of action to correct or eliminate future issues. * Provides / Serves as a central contact for technical expertise and business process guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems and the advancement of opportunities. * Coaches and mentors' business and technical consultants as needed. Required/Basic Qualifications * Bachelors degree in Statistics or * Bachelors degree in Business Administration or * Bachelors degree in Technical Business Administration or * Bachelors degree in Other Related Degree or * Bachelors degree in Business or * Bachelors degree in Information Technology or * Bachelors degree in Communications or * Bachelors degree in Mathematics * 3 years related work experience * In lieu of Bachelors degree(s) AND 3 year(s) related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND 7 year(s) related work experience Desired Qualifications * Certified Change Management Professional and/or Six Sigma and/or Project Management Professional and/or Business Process Management Additional Preferred Qualifications
Hybrid - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to a Duke Energy facility.
