Position Summary

The Recruiting Specialist II will be responsible for recruiting experienced and talented individuals for open positions; partnered with Hiring Managers in an effort to further Busey's commitment to the communities it serves. The Talent Specialist will identify talent by sourcing through LinkedIn and other internet-based platforms, utilizing the proprietary applicant tracking system, job fairs, and all other effective forms of recruiting top talent. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage full lifecycle recruiting process from talent requisition and identification to new hire onboarding for niche and Manager-level (and above) roles.
  • Build out talent networks in critical/difficult/niche sectors and tap knowledgeable industry sources to develop an ongoing pool of candidates.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, developing strong internal relationships with department/hiring managers, supervisors, company directors and executives to deliver exceptional candidates to fill key positions.
  • Successful management of complex projects involving multiple stakeholders; delivering on-time, high quality results.
  • Strong skills in discernment, ability to evaluate intellectual depth and problem-solving ability of candidates.
  • Act as a brand ambassador to multiple departments and/or lines of business within Busey to foster knowledge of skills needed for future growth and development
  • Demonstrated core knowledge of and ability to collaborate with all areas within HR.
  • Assist in other areas of the Pillar Relations department, as needed.
Education & Experience

Knowledge of:

  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to build working relationships

Ability to:

  • Assist in the growth plans which support the desired strategic objectives of the organization
  • Self-starter who can remain flexible and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Handle multiple tasks at the same time with frequent interruptions and strict time constraints

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of recruiting and/or hiring experience preferred.
  • Compensation strategy and talent management experience preferred.
  • Previous Human Resources experience required.
  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
