JUNIOR - WATCHLISTING ANALYST Location: Reston, VA \| Type: Full-Time \| Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Overview DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Watchlisting Analyst to support a critical national security mission. Based in Reston, VA, this on-site role contributes directly to the Intelligence Community by identifying and analyzing data related to known or suspected terrorists (KSTs), ensuring accurate and timely inputs into national watchlisting systems. Key Responsibilities Conduct structured reviews of Department of Defense (DoD) datasets likely to contain identifying information on known or suspected terrorists (KSTs). Extract and document relevant intelligence in accordance with established Government guidelines and prioritization protocols. Perform cross-checks and in-depth research across multiple intelligence holdings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and elimination of duplicate records. Prepare nomination reports in accordance with Government templates, ensuring proper classification, formatting, routing, and adherence to writing standards. Consistently meet established production and quality standards for Terrorist Identity Nominations (TINs). Provide mentorship and support to junior team members involved in watchlisting efforts, as appropriate. Demonstrate familiarity with Intelligence Community (IC) agencies and their roles in counterterrorism analysis, reporting, and operations. Navigate and utilize DoD intelligence databases with confidence, ensuring alignment with national watchlisting policies and procedures. Apply general knowledge of global terrorist organizations, including nomenclature, areas of operation, leadership hierarchies, known activities, and ideological drivers. Minimum Qualifications Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree, subject to waiver approval. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market data.
