Shift Timing: 1st Shift 9x80 A

Salary: $30-$35 /hr on w2 without benefits

Job Description:

  • We're looking for Technician 2 level employees with formal or military electronics training. The selected candidates will have experience repairing aircraft wiring and terminating Amphenol or Cannon plugs by soldering or crimping pins. Manufacturing Mil-Std 1553 Cables is considered a plus. Advance Test Support Solutions (ATSS) department in Oklahoma City, OK. As a member of the Manufacturing team, you'll work in a fast-paced team environment to build Special Test Equipment, Chassis' and aircraft wire harness assemblies. You'll interface with Design Engineers and other technicians to build this laboratory test Equipment.
  • The products built will support two major defense programs.



Role & Responsibilities:

  • Kit Parts and build Rack Mounted Chassis assemblies.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate equipment issues to support system build-up and Integration Site sell-off.
  • Communicate project status to the Integration and Test (I&T) IPT Lead.
  • Perform general tasks associated with kitting and work movement between three Oklahoma City sites.
  • Design, develop, and implement testing methods for individual pieces of equipment (both custom and COTS) and entire systems.
  • Compile data and help to define changes required in testing methodology, equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, and new testing requirements.


Required Experience:

  • Formal Electronics Training
  • Working knowledge and experience performing Aircraft Wiring Repairs.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use basic manual tools, general test Equipment, and meters..


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret or higher security clearance.
  • Working knowledge of MIL-STD-1553 bus hardware and familiarity with using oscilloscopes and the functions of a Digital Multimeter.
  • Aircraft Wiring Familiarity and Harness Repair.
  • Current IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification a plus.
