Work Shift:

Second Shift - Somersworth (United States of America)

Work Shift Time:

3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Job Objective: Ability to operate and be certified on a variety of manufacturing equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain Safety, Quality and takt time standards. Ability to perform varying assignments daily.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Perform machine change overs.
  • Operate complex manufacturing equipment following established procedures and Control Plans.
  • Read and interpret the Discrete Job Routing Sheet.
  • Review part drawings from the resident computer system.
  • Perform quality checks as documented.
  • Complete necessary computer transactions or paperwork.
  • Maintain established production standards.
  • Accountable for personal goals and the department's team goals.
  • Individual must be flexible and have the ability to learn to operate in several different cell areas after required training has been met.
  • Ability to successfully complete training and operate PIT's.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and/or GED required.
  • Three years of experience operating production machinery to set standards.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the operation of several different manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to train.
  • Responsible for training new operators on the job.
  • Demonstrate visual recognition of product.
