Payroll Specialist - Cheshire, CT

Responsibilities:

• Provide exemplary customer service to our expatriate exmployees by being the primary point of contact to analyze and explain all componets realted to compensation and taxation
• Perform reconcilations and detailed audits to ensure accurate processing of compensation
• Resolve day-to-day operational problems of varied scope and complexity
• Process monthly salaried payroll
• Assist in payroll software updating and testing - monthly, weekly and more
• Maintain payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
• Responsible for unclaimed property
• Coordinate, prepare and update monthly team schedule
• Carry out job duties while maintaing Lane values
• And other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5years' expereince in the area of payroll, accounting, or related field
• Knowledge of payroll priniciples and procedures
• Computer literate in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• JDEdwards experience is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be a team player
• Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Energetic, dependable, self-starter, and team player with a professional image, who is capabale of handling highly confidential information
