The University of Virginia's (UVA) Faculty and Employee Assistance Program (FEAP) is growing and has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Faculty and Employee Assistance Program Consultant. About FEAP FEAP offers quality, professional, and comprehensive employee assistance services, tailored to individual needs. FEAP Consultants provide expert consultation and training for organizational leadership seeking to manage employee needs, enhance the work environment, and improve workplace communication and performance. FEAP Consultants work with faculty, staff and their adult family members to address both personal and professional concerns in a variety of areas including stress, emotional and physical health, relationships, substance misuse and more, that may affect job performance. Services include organizational consultation to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) accounts, developing program awareness and education activities, clinical assessment, intervention and referral, crisis intervention, establishing community linkages, and case management. The anticipated hiring range is $66,000 - $80,000, commensurate with education and experience. This is an exempt-level, benefited position. Learn more about UVA benefits. This position is based in Charlottesville, VA, and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule in accordance with UVA's remote work guidelines. Occasional travel to UVA and community worksites is required, and the role includes participation in an after-hours on-call rotation following onboarding. This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
