Sr. Photographer - Media & Culture This is a 3-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Nashville, TN, with potential to extend. Summary Our client's creative media team is seeking a Photographer to produce original, high-quality visual assets for digital media platforms. This role will contribute to the creation of impactful, timely, and visually compelling photography that supports storytelling across products and channels. You'll manage the full lifecycle of shoots-from concept through execution-balancing creativity, technical precision, and collaboration. Our Ideal Candidate 7-10 years of experience as a professional photographer, with expertise in producing culturally relevant content within the music, entertainment, or events industries. Passion for photography, music, culture, and storytelling, with a strong foundation in both studio and documentary styles. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop), Capture One, and Keynote, with advanced retouching and studio lighting skills. Familiar with digital capture workflows, asset management, and file archiving best practices. Skilled in collaborating with creative directors, art directors, and producers to deliver high-quality visual assets. Able to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities, quick turnarounds, and evolving creative needs. Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills with exceptional attention to detail. Job Description In this role, you will conceptualize, plan, and execute a wide range of photography assignments-ranging from studio portraiture to documentary-style shoots-delivering high-impact imagery that aligns with brand and creative direction. You'll partner closely with creative leadership and production teams to develop and produce original content for media and marketing channels. This includes overseeing shoot logistics, directing talent, lighting, shooting, retouching, and final asset delivery. You will also maintain organized digital files, adhere to metadata and keywording standards, and ensure quality control throughout the production process, supporting the broader creative team's success and storytelling goals. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Background in creative production, photojournalism, or content creation within the entertainment or media industries. Experience assisting or collaborating with established photographers is a plus. Additional Requirements This opportunity is located in Nashville, TN and requires hybrid work. The pay for this W-2 position is $68.65 per hour. This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health insurance, dental insurance, and/or 401(k), depending on tenure and hours worked.
