Objectives of this Role:

An exciting remote long-term contract position (approximately 18-24 months) exists within our BarnesWORXTM community for a Talent Acquisition Advisor/Recruiter for our Barnes Aerospace, CT Operations. As Talent Acquisition Advisor/Recruiter, you will utilize your passion for connecting talent to career opportunities by creatively sourcing candidates via online methods, social networks, and referrals. While doing so, you will build strong relationships with hiring managers across the business to introduce talented employees with the right skills and desire to develop, grow and contribute meaningfully to the success of the organization. Key Responsibilities:



  • Pre-screen and source the most highly qualified, diverse slate of candidates for associate to manager positions across multiple functional areas in the most cost effective and timely manner. Primary focus will be on sourcing for hourly manufacturing roles.
  • Partner with local HR team and hiring managers in determining and developing their strategies for current and future staffing needs.
  • Generate recruiting reports and monitor metrics to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts (time to fill, cost per hire, retention)
  • Identify improvements to the current staffing practices and processes (best practice knowledge) to meet customer and candidate expectations.
  • Actively conduct exploratory interviews to create a candidate pipeline of talent.
  • Participate in local CT careers fairs and conferences.



Skills & Qualifications:



  • 2 years of experience in Human Resources field; distribution or manufacturing environment, preferred
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Job Boards preferred; UKG Pro software preferred.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting technologies and products. Excellent computer and internet skills including job board data mining.
  • Relationship building and consultative skills required
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures and practices desired.
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor in a variety of situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills required to effectively interact with all levels internally and candidates. This position demands the highest degree of diplomacy, outstanding judgment and integrity to tactfully resolve daily talent acquisition issues.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and initiative. Flexible with changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently to complete required tasks.



Education Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, related field, or commensurate recruiting experience preferred.
