Responsibilities

Join Our Team as a Payroll Specialist!

Are you passionate about numbers and ensuring everyone gets paid accurately and on time? Do you thrive in a dynamic, multi-state environment? If so, we want YOU to be our next Payroll Specialist!

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver accurate and timely payroll services for our amazing team across multiple states, including both non-exempt and exempt employees.
  • Analyze payroll data provided by managers for accuracy, input and balance payroll data, and review payroll reports to ensure everything is spot on!
  • Review workflows for new hires, changes, and terminations to maintain accuracy in our multi-state operations.
  • Compile and input payroll data, including hours worked, time off, taxes, insurance, and other withholdings.
  • Verify employee personal data and work-related changes, ensuring promotions, terminations, and bonuses are accurately reflected.
  • Assist in training managers on payroll systems and their responsibilities.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve discrepancies, keeping management informed along the way.
  • Participate in end-of-month closing audits to keep everything in check.
  • Stay compliant with all legal and institutional regulations while keeping your knowledge up to date on federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
  • Identify payroll service solutions to enhance our delivery and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Provide top-notch customer service, ensuring timely responses and effective follow-ups on requests or issues.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree preferred)

Minimum of two (2) years' experience in payroll administration

Demonstrated experience building and maintaining moderately complex payroll systems

Experience with UltiPro preferred
