LOCATION OF (1) POSITION(S) TO BE FILLED: DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTION, WEST TENNESSEE STATE PENITENTIARY, LAUDERDALE COUNTY Working Title: Career & Technical Education Instructor - HVAC A Motor Vehicle Records screening will be conducted prior to employment. A pre-employment drug screening is required prior to employment. This position requires a criminal background check. Therefore, you may be required to provide information about your criminal history in order to be considered for this position Qualifications Education and Experience: Currently certified as an instructor in a specialty area by a nationally recognized vocational training program and experience equivalent to two years of full-time work instructing a specialty area. OR Possession of a certification in a specialty area by a nationally recognized vocational training program and 5 years of experience. Necessary Special Qualifications: For uncertified instructor applicants, this position requires the incumbent to enroll in a certified instructional program within the first six months of employment and to be completed within two years after employment begins.
