Job Description:
*The Analytical Chemist Associate performs physical, chemical or bioanalytical characterization of finished product or raw material test samples.
*Associate applies various chemistry techniques and scientific methods to characterize test materials to enable Client experimental objectives.

*Technical deliverables include, but are not limited to: basic bench chemistry techniques (including pH, viscosity and particle size), sample preparation, chromatography, gravimetric analysis).
*Receives and follow instructions on assignment objectives with accuracy and great attention to detail.
*Spends the largest percentage of time in the laboratory.
*Associate analysts must use their analytical skills to understand how the collected data can affect business decisions, then prepare reports that detail findings and recommend solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Instrumentation operation, sample analysis, Notebook documentation, reviewing reports, quality systems compliance.
*Bachelor s Degree in Chemistry or related field.
*Relevant experience in an academic or industrial lab setting with emphasis on notebook documentation.
*Ability to analyze and document various different types of data.
*Ability to operate basic lab equipment including pH meters, pipettes, spectrophotometer, etc. Strong math skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
