Location: This position is full-time on-site in Dover, NH. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. At this time, we are unable to sponsor or assume sponsorship of an employment visa. Electrical Systems Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be a key member of a diverse team of professionals developing custom automation solutions for complex challenges to our customers.
- Build and test automated machinery to streamline manufacturing processes, ensuring considerations for workflow, production layout, and safety.
- Maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of materials using SolidWorks Electrical (or similar CAD platforms).
- Troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and network analyzers; document corrective actions and lessons learned.
- Creates and revises manufacturing documents, specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety instructions, validation protocols, risk assessments, and procedures and other technical documents.
- Troubleshooting of automation system issues to discover root cause and implement permanent solutions.
- Other miscellaneous tasks as may be assigned by Leadership.
- Performs all other duties as assigned of needed.
Electrical Systems Technician Qualification Requirements:
- Associate degree in an Electrical Engineering discipline.
- At least 1-3 years of demonstrated product experience in an automations engineering area.
- Proficiency with electrical CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or equivalent) for wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of materials.
- Familiarity of NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 79, UL 508A and IEC/EN standards requirements for machinery.
- Understanding of AC / DC circuits, 3 phase and single-phase electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to fabricate and wire electrical control cabinets for automated machinery, panel layout optimization, and adherence.
- Risk and hazard analysis using FMEA and well considered design reviews.
- Documentation systems; change orders, writing specs, quality systems, ISO requirements.
- Proficient in simple computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. with the ability to learn new ones.
- Air and motor vehicle travel (either in the US or internationally) when required (<5% of time).
