Applications Programmer Bioengineering Part Time 86553BR Job Summary **This is a one year contract position at 50% FTE** The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $52,800 - $112,000 (Annual Rate). Under the leadership of Dr. Liang Zhao (a former FDA quantitative methods lead), our group develops mechanistic, population, and AI-driven models that influence regulatory decisions, support generic drug development, and integrate real-world evidence approaches. Our research spans pharmacometrics, physiologically based pharmacokinetics, regulatory-grade evidence generation, and the intersection of AI/machine learning with drug development. The lab fosters a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment where computational scientists, pharmacologists, and regulatory researchers work together to bridge methodological innovation and real-world impact.
