About The Role:

Meeting Event Manager (HCPs) will function as primary client liaison and team leader for assigned programs and events aligned to a global pharmaceutical client. Manages the overall coordination and execution of an entire program/event from an operational perspective. Responsible for coordination of all program planning while providing unparalleled levels of customer service. Primary responsibility for client budget management in addition to forecasting all budget variations.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

  • Define deliverables, create project timelines and budgets, and manage all event details.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers including hotels, DMCs, AV, and air travel.
  • Monitor financials including forecasting, invoicing, and budget tracking to ensure profitability.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining proactive communication and managing expectations.
  • Lead project teams through development, production, and quality assurance phases.
  • Provide onsite leadership during events, resolving issues and ensuring service delivery.
  • Participate in proposal development and renewal business planning.

What You'll Bring (Must Have's)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in event planning including sales meetings and healthcare professional meetings (HCPs).
  • Strong knowledge of event management and budget maintenance.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CVENT, Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Nice To Have (Preferred)

  • International hotel and destination knowledge.
  • Familiarity with project financial forecasting tools.

Working Logistics & Things You Should Know

  • This is a Remote role.
  • Expectation to be onsite as required by client or event needs.
  • This position requires up to 30% travel.
