This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite in La Jolla and remote. Under supervision, the incumbent will work as a Cognitive Dynamics Staff Research Coordinator supporting the clinical research efforts for the Cognitive Dynamics Laboratory within the Department of Psychiatry. Incumbent effort will specifically be targeted on research studies involving subjects with serious mental illnesses (e.g., mood or psychotic disorders) including people experiencing elevated suicide risk. Duties and responsibilities include updating and maintaining several databases; recruitment and screening of potential subjects; administration of structured clinical interviews; conducting cognitive and diagnostic assessments, as well as sensor and related data collection modalities using mobile technology; preparing summaries for institutional review board and funding agency progress reports; recruiting and training research assistant student interns on study procedures; and coordination of ongoing research studies. Perform other project and miscellaneous duties as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $63,308 - $101,853 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $30.32 - $48.78 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
