Pay Rate: $30.69 - $37.60/hr.

Schedule: 1st shift

Key Responsibilities:



  • Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA regulations and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Conduct regular system and equipment inspections ("shift rounds") and document performance in CMMS.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, docks, commercial doors, locks, and building systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues, performing tasks such as lubrication, filter changes, and small repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, subcontractors, and customers regarding work status and completion expectations.
  • Provide guidance to subcontractors and assist with facilities-related projects as directed by the Site Manager.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or undergraduate business training preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience maintaining commercial dock levelers, doors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems; experience with specific manufacturers preferred.
  • AAADM certification preferred; valid driver's license required.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts.
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and work orders; perform basic calculations and problem-solving.
  • Experience with CMMS, email, and electronic communication tools.
  • Capable of adapting to dynamic priorities, weekend or non-standard schedules, and physically demanding tasks.
