The Vice President of Project Management serves as a key member of sg360's leadership team, responsible for overseeing all project execution functions across the company's direct marketing production, fulfillment, and logistics operations. This role ensures the flawless delivery of complex, data-driven marketing campaigns-on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. The VP of Project Management leads a team that serves as the operational backbone of client program delivery, coordinating closely with production, data services, sales, and logistics to ensure seamless execution from project initiation through completion. This leader is dedicated to driving efficiency, consistency, and communication across the organization to support sg360's commitment to precision and performance. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive project management strategy aligned with sg360's business goals and operational priorities.
- Lead initiatives that enhance production workflow efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across all facilities.
- Partner with sg360 leadership to identify and execute process improvements that elevate delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure accountability and continuous improvement across all projects.
Operational Excellence
- Direct the daily activities of the project management organization, ensuring projects are properly scoped, planned, and executed according to specifications.
- Drive standardization of project management methodologies, tools, and documentation across all business units.
- Collaborate with sales, sales service, data services, prepress, production, estimating, scheduling, and logistics teams to optimize scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordination.
- Oversee risk management and issue resolution to ensure uninterrupted production and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with SG360's quality assurance and data security protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior Managers, PM Supervisors, and Project Managers to build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Champion professional development, workflow efficiency, process training, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Promote a proactive, solution-oriented mindset that reinforces sg360's reputation for reliability and excellence.
Customer Advocacy & Relationship Management
- Serve as an executive sponsor for key accounts, cultivating long-term client partnerships.
- Monitor customer feedback and data analytics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Act as the primary escalation point for major customer issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen customer retention and promote upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the operational link between Sales, Production, and Data Services teams, ensuring project requirements are fully translated into actionable production plans.
- Partner with IT and operations to enhance systems integration and project tracking capabilities.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure alignment between customer expectations, production capabilities, and business objectives.
Requirements Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in customer service or client relations, preferably within printing, direct mail, marketing services, or manufacturing industries.
- Proven ability to lead large, distributed teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using customer metrics to guide decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
