What You Will Do As Panel Designer 2 you will design panels from panel request documentations, contract drawings and specifications provided by the project team while maintaining company and customer standards. This role also provides leadership to team members. A Typical Day at Prime Controls Assist project teams in creation and/or completion of panel design request forms.

Education/Experience: Two-year college degree in electrical engineering technology or related experience and/or training. Two or more years of experience designing control panels. Language Ability: Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, vendors, project managers, and co-workers. Math Ability: Work with mathematical concepts such as basic math, algebra and geometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills: Two or more years of AutoCAD Electrical plus MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), Documentation Software: Adobe Pro Certificates and Licenses: Certificate of Competition UL Knowledge courses - Industrial Control Panels UL 508A, 698A and Short Circuit Current Ratings.
