Position summary: As a member of the Global Market Sustainability Team, the Sustainability Manager - (North America) will serve as the primary brand figure and market sustainability expert for activities in the region and as part of the global team. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in a sustainability or tangential role and be highly skilled in communication and collaboration. This individual must be able to command everchanging and challenging subject matter, educate effectively, field questions and manage objections.The ideal candidate has experience navigating broad sustainability topics in writing and with live audiences, small and large and will make connections between customers' sustainability commitments and Interface's corporate sustainability leadership and product offering. This person will collaborate with the salespeople and management on account strategy as it relates to sustainability and ensure that Interface continues to have specifiable differentiation in the market, thus leading to top line sales growth. Additional responsibilities include circular economy market expansion and NGO committee participation both of which shape the market at mitigate financial and brand risk.
