Genesis10 is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Work across engineering organizations within application production services engineering to quantify and measure the overall effectiveness of the organization Work alongside other team members to collect key metrics, normalize them, and publish them to be consumed by senior management Report will focus on "what we currently have" but will mature into "how can we optimize", and then will help communicate the message to the senior leadership team, and to the respective CIO partners Requirements: 2 years' of data analytics or MBA/Masters equivalency Ability to "tell a story" by using data to market, optimize, and clearly provide the value of the organization Team leader, who can bring different points of view and converge on a single aligned message Willingness to learn and adapt new processes and technologies as the business continues to evolve Microsoft Excel Microsoft PowerBI / Salesforce Tableau Light Python/Data modeling languages Atlassian Jira Critical Thinker who can communicate effectively across different levels in the organizations Ability to analyze large datasets and normalize them in a consumable way by executive management Pay range: $53.38 - $61.38 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
