The Opportunity:

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of national, regional and distribution accounts. You will provide continuous support as category expert to drive an informed and knowledgeable sales organization. You will be responsible for creating and presenting assortment information to customers. You will be responsible for managing the overall channel strategy for TV and Audio business in the US supporting key KPI's including:



  • Sales Revenue
  • Unit Sell-In
  • Sell-Thru
  • Market Share


You will manage a specific group of products, from new product launch plans to end of life focused on ensuring smooth transition and fast ramp-up for new offerings each year. You will serve as the central resource from planning, marketing, launch and distribution. This role's involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. To be successful in this role you will develop business plans and product positioning in the marketplace, as well as oversee market research, monitor competitive activity, identify customer needs, and establish pricing strategies. As a key member of a high performing team, you will also work with internal teams.

As the Product Manager, you will:



  • Gain deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Participate in product launches including working with marketing/public relations, executives, and other product management team members.
  • Drive incremental assortments and merchandising to support BU goals
  • Monitor weekly sell-out forecasts to ensure proper tracking to targets
  • Triangulate market share forecasts with procurement plan and sell-out forecasts
  • Monitor sell-in progress to ensure monthly achievement of MP
  • Act as main point of contact to sales organization
  • Build and develop relationships with merchants at key customers
  • Coordinate with SCM team to ensure adequate product availability, manage WOS, and minimize long-term inventory



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years advanced experience in consumer product marketing.
  • Previous consumer electronics industry experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in a previous role type where taking initiative and execution were critical to driving business results.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, v-look ups, etc.)
  • Necessary Skills: Solid negotiation, leadership, and professional presentation skills
  • The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize simultaneous projects required.


Recruiting Range
$100,000 - $150,000 USD
