Veterinary Assistant

This position will assist in facilitating exemplary patient care within the Radiology section of the Veterinary Health Center. Duties may include preparation and restraint of patients for imaging procedures, transporting patients, and assisting with administrative needs of the section.

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED
* One year of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Ability to handle, restrain, and perform radiology procedures on domestic animals.
* Ability to perform technical tasks associated with emergency medical care and to instruct students to perform technical procedures with limited direct supervision.
* Be willing to master new techniques.
