Meet the Team We are the Data Center Network Services team within Cisco IT that supports network services for Cisco Engineering and business functions worldwide. Your Impact You will develop, test and deploy new software capabilities within Data Center Network. You are engaging and comfortable collaborating with fellow engineers across multiple subject areas as well as internal clients. You will develop innovative, high-quality capabilities enabling our clients to have the best possible experience. Minimum Requirements Bachelor of Engineering or Technology and 2 plus years experience and demonstrated ability in building/testing/deploying scalable network applications Strong coding skills with expertise in scripting using Python and Ansible Experience in tools including JIRA, GIT, and Jenkins Expertise with Continuous Integration and Development (CI/CD), and setting up CI/CD pipelines Solid grasp of software engineering concepts including: common data structures/standard algorithms, object-oriented programming, distributed computing and cloud computing paradigms. Preferred Qualifications Good understanding of the Build & Release Operations Good understanding on DevOps principles Comfortable with Agile practices and beliefs in "quality driven" development Basic understanding of Unix/Linux Domain knowledge about contemporary network technologies, network management and protocols CCNA or CCNP is a plus Why Cisco?
