As a Security Professional - Retail Access Control Patrol in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a dynamic retail location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the retail location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or management while maintaining a visible presence at access control points.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
