Job Description

The TransFund Product Manager position is responsible for design, implementation, and management of TransFund products/solutions with the goal to increase revenue and expand customer relationships. This position is responsible for setting product vision and developing product roadmaps as well as analyzing industry trends, researching data and developing new product offerings which will maximize TransFund profitability and differentiate TransFund in the marketplace. This position will negotiate with vendors, set product pricing and manage a group of products and services used by all TransFund customers as well as present to and interface with C-Level executives at current and potential TransFund Customers. The Product Manager will participate in industry conferences to ensure TransFund is visible and viable to our customers, potential customers and industry peers. This position is responsible for the majority of internal and external client communications regarding network or legal compliance, industry initiatives and information, and new or updated product information. This position is responsible for high level management of overarching initiatives that impact all or large segments of TransFund or its customers (ex: Durbin Amendment, EMV Processing, Network Issues). This position will also be responsible for understanding and communicating the complexities of payment and funds processing as well as their legal and financial impact to TransFund and its customers.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You will manage a portfolio of credit, fraud and other products, enhancing existing and developing new.
  • You will monitor third-party regulations and communicate compliance issues to internal business partners and our clients.
  • You will coordinate on-going contractual and procedural issues with vendors, assist with pricing, and implement procedures for internal business partners and clients.
  • You will communicate all plans of action with internal business partners and clients.
  • You will maintain an ever-changing and expanding portfolio of TransFund products.
Education & Experience Requirements

Required level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in a related field or equivalent work experience of 15+ years in a related environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of payments / electronic funds transfer (EFT) industry practices and regulations and Visa/MasterCard/Cirrus/Plus/Pulse operating rules
  • Advanced knowledge of Credit, Debit, and EFT Technical/Operations
  • Advanced knowledge of TransFund system/products
  • Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills, including oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent supervisory/management skills
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent project management and presentation skills
