 POSITION OBJECTIVES: To deploy, troubleshoot and support client desktop
 hardware/software, mobile devices and other peripherals; to ensure accurate and timely
 responses to employee requests for support via phone, email, or ticketing system; to work and
 communicate in a team-oriented environment in accordance with the Cooperative's mission,
 vision, and values.
 MINIMUM JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

 EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Prefer specialized courses in the
 IT field or completion of associate's degree in computer related field.
 EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two years' direct experience with computer hardware systems
 and software applications similar to those in use at Jackson EMC.
 KNOWLEDGE: Must possess a solid basic working knowledge of computer systems,
 diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Specific knowledge should include end user tools,
 systems terminology, operating system's capabilities, and computer hardware configuration
 including peripheral devices. Require ability to pursue a continuous program of selfdevelopment both inside and outside of work hours in furthering his/her knowledge to develop in
 the job and accept increasing responsibilities.
 SKILLS: Require effective leadership skills, excellent communication skills, both written and
 verbal, and the ability to work in a team environment. Must possess the initiative to develop an
 interest in accepting work assignments. Must be objective, reliable, and prompt in performance
 of duties. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to
 work in a team environment; Must have excellent planning and organizing skills. Must have the
 ability to accomplish the following: utilize the operating environments of various computer
 systems; configure, maintain, install, and repair computing hardware.
 WORKING RELATIONSHIPS AND CONDITIONS:Reports to: Technology Analyst
 Directs: None
 Internal: Actively participates within the Cooperative team environment to develop supportive
 relationships essential to the success of the functions of this position and to the overall
 cooperative spirit.
 External: Develops and maintains supportive relationships with member/consumers, thegeneral public, and other external contacts to assure positive results
 This position is primarily medium work; requires visual acuity in machine operation with
 inspection; requires hearing, talking, grasping, pulling, pushing, reaching, lifting, stooping,
 standing, walking and performing repetitive motions; and is not substantially exposed to adverse
 environmental conditions.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 1. Create and respond to incidents in the IT ticketing system.
 2. Install and configure end-user hardware, such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices,
 printers, and other devices.
 3. Troubleshoot and support end-user hardware to maintain proper desktop service levels.
 4. Maintain and monitor inventory of peripheral devices to ensure proper availability of
 inventoried items.
 5. Assist in hardware/software inventory audits as instructed to ensure compliance with
 corporate standards and licensing.
 6. Create, maintain, and publish relevant support documentation and knowledgebase
 articles to assist in the quick resolution of incidents and service requests.
 7. Maintain and promote a high level of awareness regarding cyber threats from both
 internal and external sources. Promote and comply with cybersecurity policies and best
 practices.
 8. Travel to outlying offices or other locations during and beyond normal working hours to
 troubleshoot IT related issues.
 9. Be familiar with and follow the best safety practices set forth in the Cooperative's
 SAFETY MANUAL.
 10. Attend and participate in annual meeting as required or directed.
 11. Perform such other duties as may be required or directed.
