Material Program Manager - Camp Buehring, Kuwait V2X Global Training Solutions (GTS) is seeking an experienced Leader and Material Program Manager (MPM) to join the Defense Training (DT) Supply Chain team. The Lead MPM will demonstrate project management and critical thinking skills and will play an important role in ensuring supplier performance. The MPM must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program goals, and able to successfully participate with all levels of internal administration, including the supplier organization. The MPM will play an important role in supporting the various programs' supply chain activities and is the liaison between the Program Manager(s), Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and other functional leads. The MPM is also responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of all program material strategies, Supply Chain targets, and company goals. Responsibilities span from the front end of the business Supply Chain activities through contract closure. The MPM must be able to exert influence and have an effect on the overall goals and long-range goals of the program and the program IPT team. The MPM should have supplier ownership, financial, contracting, or negotiating experience or have had project management responsibilities.
