Manufacturing Engineer

** nVent is growing, and we are hiring for multiple Manufacturing Engineer positions. This role will work onsite, 5 days/week, in Anoka, MN. This role will support our metal fabrication team as part of our Systems Protection business. **

• Optimize manual, semi-automated, and fully automated processes by collaborating with operators, team leaders, and value stream managers to enhance production layouts, streamline material flow, and improve line balancing.

• Submit Capital Equipment requests for new equipment or technology and work with project team members and suppliers to ensure effective integration into production.

• Apply lean principles to drive continuous improvement and waste reduction, resulting in enhanced safety, product quality, delivery, and reduced cost.

• Work with New Product Development (NPD) team to analyze drawings and ensure the new product can be manufactured efficiently and cost-effectively.

• Manage prototype builds and the initial production ramp-up, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related degree.

• 3+ years of engineering experience preferred.

• Experience with one or more of the following systems: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Office, ERP (JD Edwards preferred), PLM (Enovia preferred), Microsoft Project or similar project management software.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
