Patient Service Representative (PSR) - Part-Time

    Schedule: 28 hours/week | Flexible 4- or 5-day schedule | Consistent weekday hours

    Facility Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM

    MaineHealth is currently seeking a friendly and reliable Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our Primary Care Family Medicine practice in Saco. This is a part-time role, ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with patients and working in a supportive team environment. No prior experience is required-we are willing to train the right candidate!

    As a PSR, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and performing general office duties to support the daily operations of our medical practice.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner

    • Answer and direct incoming calls

    • Schedule and confirm appointments

    • Verify insurance and collect co-pays as needed

    • Maintain patient records and general front desk organization

    • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient flow

    Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
    2. License/Certifications: N/A
    3. Experience: Previous office experience with medical office experience preferred.
    4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
    5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
