About the Role:

As a Maintenance Technician at Contech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation of our manufacturing equipment. Your responsibilities include:

• Providing technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and install all plant equipment.
• Perfom emergency repairs
• Accountable for Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) process.
• Educates, directs, trains, and supports employees in reference to TPM and equipment repair compliance and is responsible for maintenance budget.
• Identifying cost-effective solutions for replacing obsolete components.
• Adjusts repairs or replaces parts, assemblies, and machine equipment.
• Reads and interprets blueprints for repair and installation of equipment.
• Preventative maintenance
• Will work closely with the production team
• Modify or fabricate parts and mounting hardware as needed to restore functionality
• Possible 5% travel to surrounding plants
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, including part replacements, torque specifications, lubrication, and system tests.

About You:

We Require:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Demonstrates understanding of mechanical/electrical problems and fixes.
• Good organizational skills.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Good root cause problem solving skills.
• Hands on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and light electrical systems within a heavy industrial environment.
