Our Engine Field Technicianis primarily responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, repairing and rebuilding diesel and compression gas engines in the field to provide an excellent customer experience. Min: $25.61 to $56.82 / Hourly Benefits: Tool Reimbursement Work Boot Reimbursement Prescription Safety Glasses Reimbursement Uniforms and Cleaning Services Paid Annual Training Long-term Incentive Program 401(k) with Matching Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave Dependent Care Account HSA / FSA Options Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Life / AD&D / Short-Term Disability / Long-Term Disability Insurance Company Laptop for Troubleshooting and Ordering Parts Clearly Defined Path of Progression for Technical Advancement What You Will Do in This Role: Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on engines as well as diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs and make all critical repairs and adjustment Must be willing to work overtime as required by fluctuating workloads and available for after-hours calls as needed Perform required DOT inspections to ensure service truck is in proper, safe working order Create a work environment that is considerate of the customer's needs Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations and customers Our Ideal Candidate: Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics Must have a valid driver's license General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins, schematics, line diagrams and other related publications.
