Requirements and Preferences
Work Schedule |
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (flexible hybrid schedule); Average of 20 hours per week |
Other Work/Responsibilities |
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead community engagement across IEI initiatives, ensuring alignment and impact.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
- Design and facilitate convenings that elevate critical issues and drive solutions.
- Support IEI's Forum program and statewide grant initiatives.
- Measure and communicate program impact.
- Contribute to grant writing and reporting.
- Supervise functional team staff and potential student workers.
- Temporary, part-time position funded by grants and state appropriations.
- Travel required (10-15%), including occasional evenings/weekends.

Minimum Experience/Education |
- Bachelor's degree in public policy, public administration, or related field.

Department Required Skills |
- Strong facilitation, partnership-building, and communication skills.
- 7-10 years of experience in public policy or program implementation.
- Experience managing grants and evaluating program outcomes.
- Knowledge of North Carolina's political and community landscape preferred.
