Job Summary:

The Data Engineer/Manager will design, govern, and manage data models, pipelines, and repositories across on-prem and Azure cloud systems. Leads data integrity, migration, and performance initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Leverages Microsoft's Azure cloud platform to design, build, and manage robust data pipelines in support of MFR.
• integrates and transforms data from various sources into accessible formats for analysis and business insights.
• Utilizing Azure services like Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Data Warehouse, and Data Lake Storage to efficiently process and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data, all while ensuring scalability, performance, and data quality within the Azure ecosystem.
• Supports the client must be able to implement data architect solutions involving non-Azure cloud providers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator (AZ-900 or higher).
• CompTIA Sec+ certification.
• Expertise in using Azure Data Lake Storage for large-scale data storage.
• Knowledge of Azure Blob Storage for storing various data types.
• Understanding of Azure SQL Database for relational data management.
• Proficiency in using Azure Data Factory to build data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Ability to implement data ingestion from diverse sources using connectors and APIs.
• Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Understanding of data quality best practices and tools to ensure data accuracy.
• Implementing data governance policies within Azure to manage data access and security.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and query writing.
• Understanding of Azure architecture, scaling capabilities, and cost optimization strategies.
• Knowledge of Azure security features and compliance requirements,

Security Clearance:

• Active DoD SECRET Clearance Required.

Travel Requirement:

• Approximately 10% - 15%
