Overall Purpose As part of its Clean Energy Future for All vision, Duquesne Light Company (DLC) empowers customers to experience the benefits of electrification. The Electrification Solutions Intern will join a dynamic team that serves as a trusted partner, delivering innovative solutions that reduce barriers to adoption and optimize grid use to advance electrification. In this role, the intern will support the administration of innovative load management pilots, help drive customer awareness of electric technologies, and assist in deploying key technologies, such as EV charging, heat pumps, and induction cooktops, across homes, businesses, and communities throughout the Pittsburgh region. Job Responsibilities: Education/Experience Applicants must be currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Energy Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or Public Policy Skills/Abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. Hybrid Work All internships follow our hybrid work model, with a minimum of two days working in the office and the remaining days working remotely. Interns must be in the immediate Pittsburgh area for the summer. Reporting location and frequency may be subject to change based on job role and department needs.
