Responsibilities

Providing direct support to OSD Energy, this Data Engineer will:

    Utilize a data engineering approach to design scalable data solutions.
  • Oversee the design of integration of diverse data sources to ensure seamless data flow and coherence.
  • Design dashboard solutions for real-time data visualization and insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver tailored data integration strategies.
  • Help create a comprehensive roadmap for the client to implement a robust ETL pipeline, ensuring long-term data architecture success.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in data integration tools and ETL processes.
  • Solid understanding of database management systems and SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and understand their data requirements.

Desired Skills

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and algorithms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Knowledge of best practices in data governance and security.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and methodologies.

Target salary range: $99,986 - $171,154

The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, skills, and security clearances.
