Accounting Manager

Global leader at the intersection of advanced manufacturing and energy innovation is looking for a temporary Accounting Manager. With a legacy built on engineering excellence and precision manufacturing, this organization serves clients across critical sectors-offshore, energy, and infrastructure-with products that operate miles beneath the ocean's surface and at the heart of global energy systems. Our client is looking for temporary Accounting Manager to lead their core accounting operations and oversee a 2-person team at their Bryan, Texas location. They are looking to get someone quickly and this is anticipated to be for 2+ months.

What You'll Do:

• Lead month-end close processes, ensuring timely journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Oversee daily accounting operations for a dynamic, project-driven business unit.
• Mentor and guide accounting staff, building a culture of accuracy, ownership, and development.
• Deliver insights through earnings, cash flow, and cost performance reporting.
• Support audits by ensuring compliance with internal controls and maintaining solid documentation.
• Drive improvements, identifying and implementing enhancements to accounting systems and processes.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in full-cycle accounting and general ledger ownership.
• Experience supervising or mentoring accounting professionals.
• Exposure to manufacturing or project-based environments is highly valued.
• Strong systems skills-experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Power BI, or OneStream is a plus.
• A self-starter mindset with attention to detail, a collaborative spirit, and the initiative to improve processes.
