At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three-four days per week.

As an Engineer Co-op participant, you will be tasked with providing daily support of products, processes, materials, and manufacturing equipment in order to achieve production goals enabling our next-generation medical devices to reach the lives of patients around the world.

Your responsibilities will include:




  • Applying problem-solving and process improvement methodologies to improve moderately complex and diverse manufacturing processes across multiple product lines.





  • Improving product manufacturability, material constraints, product performance, and/or design-related changes.





  • Designing, coordinating, and executing engineering tests and experiments.





Required Qualifications:



  • Must graduate between Fall 2026 - Spring 2028


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial & Systems Engineering.
  • Ability to commit to a full-time co-op assignment during the following program period: July 13, 2026 - December 18, 2026.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360.
  • Experience with programming and data analysis using Python and/or MATLAB.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the Johns Creek, GA, Boston Scientific Corporate location.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization.



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.


  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and applying statistical methods to engineering problems.



  • Passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions.


  • Desire to work in a medical device company.

Minimum Salary: $ 58,240

Maximum Salary: $ 64,480

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
