Position Title: Associate Business Analyst

Reports to: IT Project Manager

Subsidiary: Leisnoi Professional Solutions, LLC

Location: Arlington and Falls Church, VA

Job Status: Regular Full -Time



Position Summary:

Leisnoi Professional Solutions, LLC has an immediate need for an Associate Business Analyst. This role will support our team in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical development teams to ensure our web applications meet user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties



  • Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements for web applications.
  • Aid in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Support the development of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize web application features.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure designs align with business needs.
  • Work with development teams to facilitate the accurate implementation of requirements.
  • Assist in conducting gap analysis between current and future state application functionality.
  • Help facilitate requirements for workshops and stakeholder interviews.
  • Contribute to project documentation and requirements traceability matrices.
  • Support user acceptance testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Engage in research to identify industry trends and best practices in web application development.
  • Participate in agile development ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Assist in developing training materials and documentation for end users

Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in business analysis, focusing on web application development
  • Familiarity with requirements gathering and documentation processes


Required Skills and Competencies



  • Basic understanding of web application architecture and development processes.
  • Knowledge of common tools and techniques for requirements elicitation and documentation.
  • Ability to create wireframes, user flows, and process diagrams.
  • Basic knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
  • Capable of translating business needs into functional requirements.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Basic proficiency with requirements management tools.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals beneficial but not required.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance (TS/SCI).
