Responsible for breaking Lift Operators and stations, providing communication and directions from Lift Captains to Supervisors, assist in training and documentation with all staff. Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities: Supervises up to 10 staff. Trains staff with proper lift operation techniques and required regulations. Responsible for maintaining lift ramps and mazes as well as end of day tear-down. Stresses safety and guest satisfaction. Assists in scheduling and performance coaching of all staff. Assists with completing lit operation documentation. Secondary Responsibilities: Shovel snow Physically lift/assist children and handicapped skiers onto chairlifts. Must have extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities and events. Other duties as assigned Specific Job Skills: License/Certifications - None Technical - None Physical Capabilities - Able to stand outside in all weather conditions and temperatures. Able to assist guests stand up with possibility of lifting 50+ pounds. Additional - Leadership and training skills preferred; familiarity with Lift Operations and mechanics, snowmobile experience preferred, mechanical experience a plus. Education/Related Experience: Minimum education required - English reading, writing, communication and basic math. Minimum time in related position - On the job experience in Lift Operations - 2 years minimum.
