Your Role at Acousti

The Corporate Counsel will play a key role in supporting Acousti's operations by providing day-to-day legal guidance and risk management within the commercial construction industry. This position involves advising on matters such as lien and bond claims, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The Corporate Counsel will also lead or support strategic legal initiatives that align with Acousti's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Provide legal counsel on corporate and commercial construction matters
  • Manage and resolve litigation, lien, and bond claims
  • Review and ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses
  • Support field operations with day-to-day legal needs and risk mitigation strategies
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Collaborate with internal departments including operations, finance, and compliance

What We're Looking for in You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Florida (or eligible for in-house counsel registration)
  • 3-5 years of legal experience in:
  • Corporate and commercial construction
  • Litigation and dispute resolution
  • Lien and bond claims
  • FAR clause review and compliance
  • Field operations legal support
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
