Job Description

Information Systems, Tokyo Electron US Holdings

20 - 40 hours/week, paid via a temp agency.

This entry-level position provides valuable corporate experience in business automation development, business systems analysis and data analytics.

Position Summary:

The Automation Developer/Analyst will assist in identifying, developing, and maintaining new software automations that support business efficiencies and productivity gains. This includes helping to analyze business processes and identifying those suitable for process automation., Programmer/Analyst will assist in coding, testing, and analyzing software automations as well as research, design, document, and modify automations specifications throughout the production life cycle.

Responsibilities:

Assist in assessing, recommending, and implementing improvements in business processes through the development of automations:

  • Gather and write requirements for automation enhancements.
  • Collaborate with analysts, programmers, system architects and database administrators in conceptualization and development of new automations.
  • Liaise with network administrators, business analysts, and other IT specialists to assist in resolving problems with automations or automation platforms.
  • Analyze and assess existing business automations and procedures.
  • Develop automations according to specifications.
  • Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of automations as necessary.
  • Design, run and monitor automations performance tests on new and existing automations for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
  • Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
  • Fix bugs and respond to support tickets.
  • Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines.
  • Conduct research on emerging automation development platforms, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
  • Work with data and leverage it to find insights, identify trends, and make recommendations.
  • Coordinate with IT management to collect data for metrics reporting.
  • Conduct data analysis for various business initiatives.
  • Present findings to stakeholders in a concise and effective manner.

Education, experience, and skills:

The ideal candidate will be an analytical, disciplined, and creative problem solver committed to delivering a quality product and be able to demonstrate:

  • Accuracy and precision.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to learn software and explain it to others.
  • Familiarity with automation (RPA) platforms and technologies including UiPath as well as HTML, JavaScript, CSS and SQL.

Education:

Pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in an accredited university in the field of Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Salary Ranges$21.06 - $28.16

Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
