What this job involves:

As a Global Metering Program Lead at JLL, you will drive sustainability through end-to-end metering solutions by working directly with clients as an embedded extension of their in-house sustainability teams while overseeing, managing, and influencing comprehensive metering program aspects. This strategic leadership role combines technical metering expertise with program management excellence, requiring you to demonstrate subject matter expertise in metering technologies, develop global mobilization strategies, and articulate data requirements while ensuring process integration across stakeholders and business functions. You will play a crucial role in JLL's commitment to driving sustainability solutions in real estate by providing metering technology capabilities guidance, leading installation and data collection strategies, and recommending fundamental use cases for metering data analytics to drive future value while supporting clients from site selection to decommissioning.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Work with client stakeholders to socialize and gain critical multi-stakeholder standards for metering technology including cyber security protocols, accuracy requirements, and data configuration
  • Develop and communicate various metering technology aspects to client stakeholders while understanding and articulating all aspects of metering solutions
  • Lead development of solution planning and establish implementation plans for continuous improvement of metering programs while providing strategic direction for service delivery enhancement
  • Develop and drive client-facing rhythm of business activities including monthly and quarterly reviews and annual operational planning
  • Establish strong working relationships with global and regional workstreams to deliver local and overarching global targets
  • Serve as primary contact for program status, updates, and achievements while demonstrating innovative thinking in bringing new solutions to clients
  • Manage effective teams of direct and indirect members capable of delivery according to scope of work and schedule.

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Science, Engineering, Math, or related fields
  • Building HVAC controls knowledge with minimum 5 years of experience
  • Expert understanding of building data/utility metering with excellent technical comprehension
  • Data management and data integration understanding with proven analytical capabilities
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as project manager, utility manager, or relevant roles
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing cross-functional teams with proven project management skills
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities with clients and internal teams
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in written and numeric work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with corporate clients and commercial property environments
  • Understanding of landlord and tenant relationships in corporate real estate
  • Knowledge of utility billing for corporate occupiers including cost management and data mapping
  • Background in energy efficiencies, consumption trends, and utility data process automation
  • Experience with supply chain partnerships and sustainability platform integration
  • Familiarity with change management support and behavioral change initiatives
  • Understanding of cyber security protocols in metering technology implementations.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

143,600.00 - 208,200.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
