MANUFACTURING TEAM LEADER, EVENING SHIFT

Hours: Sunday evening through Friday morning, 9:00PM to 6:00AM

Salary Range: $95,000 - $112,500

Summary of Role: You will be responsible for meeting delivery commitments made by you and other manufacturing team leaders to include, but not limited to, improving safety, workflow, quality and productivity efficiencies within the team in which you are responsible.

Key Responsibilities:

*Provide leadership and be the point of contact for all issues involving your team

*Communicate effectively and collaboratively with other leaders in the business and with support functions including Maintenance, Quality, Design, Production Support, Scheduling, and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure timely decisions and to keep work flowing.

*Spend majority of shift time on the production floor (70%), supporting team members. Utilize reporting to track production flow and maximize efficiencies and output.

*Drive accountability within the department to promote maximum team performance and ownership

*Ensure smooth handoff between outgoing and incoming shifts to support meeting internal and external commitments

*Implement changes driven by work center champions with a sense of urgency and diligence

*Ensure individual objectives properly align with department and business needs

*Conduct regular one on one meetings with team members, support individual development plans and conduct performance reviews

*Drive the necessary cross training to support the ability to keep work flowing

*Set clear expectations for training and check-in regularly with trainer and trainee on progress

*Support and drive continuous improvement throughout the cell, collaboratively with the other manufacturing team leaders on all shifts (as applicable)

Qualifications:

*High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred

*Leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment

*Ability to coach, mentor and develop your team

*Strong conflict resolution and team building skills

*Promote a culture of accountability, safety and performance

*Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly across roles and shifts

*Comfortable leading daily shift meetings

*Proactive and hands-on leadership style with a "lead by example" approach

*Basic understanding of Lean concepts in a manufacturing environment

*Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

*Ability to lead structured, step-by-step functional improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.

*Well organized, including the ability to schedule multiple resources and activities

*Shift flexibility and overlaps are expected with this position
