We are seeking a Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer/Analyst to support the Short and Intermediate Effectors for Layered Defense Project Office (SHIELD). In this role, you will directly work with SHIELD T&E Director to ensure integration with the product's success through rigorous engineering methods and technical expertise. You will support SHIELD T&E Integration with Program Executive Office Missiles and Space Integrated Fires and Integrated Fires Test Campaigns (IFTC) efforts. You will support multidisciplinary Integrated Product Teams to develop solutions that support developmental, test, and operational goals. A test engineer/analyst in this position is expected to be self-motivated, possessing strong written and verbal communications skills, and support or lead the following events/items including:

• Test plan and objectives development
• Test requirements development
• Test documentation preparation & review
• Test resources planning and coordination

Required

• BS or BA degree
• 20 years of related experience
• 7 years of direct T&E experience with Air and Missile Defense (AMD) systems such as PATRIOT, IBCS, & LTAMDS
• Experience supporting / leading missile flight test missions
• Experience working on (applicable to ground and/or flight tests):
  • Test plan designs
  • Test resource requirements
  • Test scenarios
  • Performance analysis
  • Requirements testing
  • Post-mission test analysis and reporting
• Working knowledge of the DoD Army Acquisition process & Test and Evaluation
• Some travel
• Must have an in-scope DoD Secret security clearance
