About the Role:

Join Yardi as a Public Records Analyst, where your attention

background searches, analyze public records, and apply client-specific criteria

you'll play a key part in ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional

What You'll Do:

  • Review and verify criminal, civil, and other public records
    as part of rental applicant background screenings
  • Research and resolve missing or unclear case details using
    internal systems and public databases
  • Apply client criteria to determine eligibility while
    maintaining business and legislative compliance requirements
  • Accurately document findings and respond to internal
    questions regarding pending searches, results, or screening guidelines

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, legal studies or
    related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior experience in research, court records, investigations,
    or a related area involving criminal or civil court systems
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
  • Basic understanding of legal or court terminology
  • Good research and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven
    environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including
    Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional and clear communication skills
  • Commitment to handling confidential information
    appropriately

Ideal to Have:

  • Experience in a criminal court, police department, or
    probation department setting, including internships
  • Knowledge of the criminal and civil court systems, criminal
    records, and landlord/tenant civil records
