Job Title: Electronics/ Electro-mechanical Assembler/Technician (Aerospace/Manufacturing Background) Location with zip code: Irvine, CA 92618 Duration: 2 years Long Contract with possible extension Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 1^st Pay Rate: $23/hr. to $27/hr. on w2 without benefits Note: Must know about Vibration Testing - set up vibration plates Job Designation: The Test Technician completes work according to instructions, specifications, and procedures. Conducts various tests and verifications on electro and electromechanical equipment, while providing accuracy, productivity and on-time delivery. Role & Responsibilities: Performs a range of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical testing of small parts or components by company instructions and procedures. Perform a variety of tests to verify circuitry and the effectiveness of components in amplifiers and electronic equipment. Receive customer parts or units and troubleshoot circuits and components using schematic drawings and prints as a verifying check. Perform tests and diagnostics using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVM, signal generators, power meters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, frequency counters, and other related test equipment. Provides detailed written failure description with root cause analysis to production and engineering. Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma. Required Experience: 2 years or more of relevant experience. Skills: Strong electrical background with an understanding of microelectronics. Strong knowledge of testing, debugging, and troubleshooting circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
