Patient Care Coordinator (Remote) *Start Date:* October 1, 2025
*Contract Duration:* 12 months *Pay Rate:* $23/hour *Schedule:* TBD (No time off permitted during contract period) *Work Setup:* 100% Remote (equipment provided) Position Summary Trialcard is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our remote team. This role is regionally aligned and serves as a critical liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and program stakeholders. You'll be the voice of support for patients navigating reimbursement, affordability programs, and access to prescribed therapies-ensuring no one is left behind due to non-clinical barriers. Key Responsibilities * Advocate for patients through program enrollment, reimbursement, co-pay assistance, and affordability support * Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned healthcare providers, delivering timely updates and building strong relationships * Partner with prescribers and patients to resolve access challenges and streamline therapy initiation * Maintain accurate records in compliance with program standards and regulatory guidelines * Escalate complex cases appropriately and follow program protocols * Act as a regional liaison to client contacts, including sales representatives * Collaborate with Franchise Program Managers and clients to share insights on patient status, provider feedback, and program effectiveness * Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the brand with professionalism and empathy * Educate patients on health conditions and available support services * Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards * Handle inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced, high-volume environment * Additional duties as assigned Required Skills & Experience * Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare, medical, or customer service settings * Strong understanding of reimbursement processes and major payers (Medicare, Medicaid, VA, DOD, commercial) * Experience with prior authorizations, insurance verification, and medical claims * Bilingual proficiency preferred * Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy benefits * Proven ability to manage patient access, case coordination, and provider communication * Computer savvy with strong documentation and multitasking skills * Professional, dependable, and organized with excellent time management * Positive, flexible, and eager to learn and adapt to Trialcard policies Top Skills Customer Service | Call Center | Prior Authorization | Medical Claims | Insurance Verification | Medicare & Medicaid | Bilingual Communication | Patient Access | Case Management Ready to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives while working from the comfort of your home? Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
