Anakim Consulting Inc. has an opening for a senior-level Enterprise Architect with Telephony experience to work onsite in support of complex network environment. The Enterprise Architect will support a variety of tasks in support of a transition from the current Cisco Telephony users for both Cisco desk phones and Cisco Jabber client users to the Microsoft Telephony platform.

Qualified candidates will have the ability to work as part of a collaborative engineering team and support independent tasks, as assigned. This position requires an analyst mindset and the ability to show attention to detail for troubleshooting, hands-on tasks, and supporting documentation.

Responsibilities include:

• Work as part of a collaborative team providing senior-level architecture support to a government customer including a telephony transition project.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures to ensure task completion for IT projects.
• Provide high level architectural expertise to management and technical staff.
• Develop architectural products and deliverables for enterprise and operational business lines.
• Support program goals to ensure Enhanced 911 (E911) compliance, integrating with E911 service providers and validating accurate location information for all users.
• Provide strategy development for system and the design infrastructure necessary to support strategy.
• Advise on the feasibility of future projects.
• Advise on selection of technology purchases considering data storage, data access, and applications development.
• Set standards for client/server relational database structure for the organization which may include SQL, Oracle, Sybase, etc.
• Maintain responsibility for completing assigned projects within budget and scheduling guidelines.
• Support on-site work schedule.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship (no dual citizenship)
• Ability to obtain security access approval (Public Trust level)
• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience supporting enterprise architecture in a complex network environment
• Experience supporting telephony transition/telephony migration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to relay technical information to non-technical users
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently, as assigned
• Availability to support on-site work schedule at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with one or more Microsoft Telephony platform migration(s) is a plus
• Experience with Cisco Telephony platform migration(s) is a plus
